AWS data-exchange documentation change

Service: data-exchange · 2026-01-10 · Documentation low

File: data-exchange/latest/userguide/approve-or-decline-requests.md

Summary

Updated subscription approval/decline process to use AWS Marketplace Management Portal instead of AWS Data Exchange console. Removed detailed section about adding custom metadata to API product subscriptions.

Security assessment

The changes streamline the user interface navigation but remove documentation about custom metadata headers. While custom metadata could have security implications, there's no evidence this change addresses a specific vulnerability. The removal appears to be a process simplification rather than a security fix.
