Summary

Added support for regional NAT gateways with new parameters --availability-mode, --vpc-id, and --availability-zone-addresses. Updated subnet-id to be optional and added auto-scaling/auto-provisioning documentation.

Security assessment

The changes introduce functionality for multi-AZ NAT gateways and configuration options for high availability. While improving reliability and redundancy, there is no direct evidence of addressing security vulnerabilities or exploits.
