AWS appstream2 documentation change

Service: appstream2 · 2025-11-07 · Documentation low

File: appstream2/latest/developerguide/securing-session.md

Summary

Updated service name references from 'AppStream 2.0' to 'WorkSpaces Applications' in headings and content. Application security controls and AppLocker guidance remain substantively unchanged.

Security assessment

Changes only reflect a service rebranding without modifying security controls or addressing vulnerabilities. The existing content about application whitelisting and AppLocker enforcement remains technically identical, just with updated service names.
